OUR POLICIES

It is our priority to provide guests with an unforgettable holiday experience.

 

To ensure all of our guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay, the following policies have been established.

We cannot accept bookings for groups or special events such as weddings.

Upon reservation, guests agree to the following:  

 

Important Information

Guests must show a valid photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Bench d’Or reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to arrival.

Seasonal Rates and Minimum Stays

For 2022, High season extends from May 14 to Sept 6 2022, inclusive. Mid season extends from April 1 to May 13 2022 and from Sept 7 to Nov 7 2022.  A 2-night minimum stay is always required.

Cancellation Policy

All reservations require full payment at time of reservation. Guests may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours after their booking is confirmed, provided their stay is 30 days away. In this case, please call us at 1(833)222-0081 and the full amount will be returned.

Unfortunately there are no refunds for cancellations in mid and high season. However, during the COVID pandemic we will offer a full credit to mid and high season guests who must change their plans due to the pandemic as long as we are informed at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. The credit will allow you to re-schedule your stay later this year or within the next 2 years. For last minute cancellations, the credit is only available if we are able to rent out your booked room. We are sorry but we cannot offer refunds due to weather events or smoky skies.

 

Check-In/Check-Out

Check in is between 3:00pm and 6:00pm. Check out is 11:00am. If your arrival is delayed until past 6 pm, please contact us, as we do not have a 24 hour concierge service. Late arrivals can be accommodated with advance notice.

 

If, at the time of check-in, for whatever reason, we cannot provide the suite that you have booked, we will substitute the best available suite. If this is an upgrade, there will be no extra charge. If it is a cheaper suite, we will refund the difference.

 

At this time, because of COVID precautions, room cleaning takes considerably longer and the capacity for early check-in

or late check-out, is very limited. If you arrive early, we can store your luggage for you. Wine can be stored in the wine cellar.

 

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are from 10:00pm – 9:00am. Excessive noise will not be permitted. 

 

Visitors

No visitors or unregistered guests are allowed.  We apologize but this is especially important during COVID. Family members are allowed with notification and COVID screening on arrival.

Pets

Our family includes 2 dogs (Blue Heelers) and we do accept dogs up to 20 kg, but a maximum of one per couple, and only in the Pernand Suite. Under no circumstances are pets allowed in the other suites. There is a one time $50 surcharge for the extra cleaning required at the end of the stay. Dogs are to be leashed while on the property and are not allowed in the pool or dining area. Please consult our Pet Policy. Thank you for your cooperation.

Occupancy

The suites are intended and priced for 2-person occupancy. Any additional occupant requires approval of management, including children over age 12, and will incur a $100 per day surcharge, payable in advance.

Parking: Complimentary parking (one stall) will be provided for each room reservation. 

 

Non-smoking: All rooms and the entire property are non-smoking.

 

Guest Room Access

During check-in, guests will be provided a door code specific to their stay. A room key is not needed for access to our suites, except for the upper suite, Chandon, which has a private outdoor stair..

 

Damage to Suite Property

We understand that accidents happen but some things will incur a charge. Damage or loss of towels or linens (beyond re-use) will be charged at replacement cost. Theft from property (not that this would ever happen!) will be charged at replacement cost.
